Whistleblowing / Speak-Up Policy
Purpose
Anyone who works with RODMENA LIMITED, including staff, contractors, suppliers and customers, should be able to raise a genuine concern about wrongdoing without fear. That includes suspected fraud, bribery, security failures, data-protection breaches, modern slavery, discrimination, or danger to health and safety.
How to raise a concern
- Email legal@rodmena.co.uk marked "Speak-Up", or raise it directly with the Director at farshid@rodmena.co.uk.
- Concerns can be raised confidentially. Tell us if you want your identity protected and we will respect that as far as the law allows.
- You will receive an acknowledgement, and the concern will be looked into properly and proportionately. You will be told the outcome where possible.
Protection
Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is itself a breach of this policy and will be treated as serious misconduct. This reflects the protections of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.
External routes
If you feel unable to raise a matter with us, or are unhappy with our response, you may contact the relevant regulator. For data protection that is the Information Commissioner's Office, and for fraud it is Report Fraud (reportfraud.police.uk), or Police Scotland on 101 in Scotland. You can also get independent advice from the whistleblowing charity Protect.
Ownership
The Director owns this policy and reviews it at least annually.
