This includes suspected fraud, bribery, security failures, data-protection breaches, modern slavery, discrimination, or danger tae health an safety.
How tae raise a concern

- Concerns can be raised confidentially; tell us if you want your identity protected and we will respect that as far as the law allows.
- Ye will get an acknowledgement, the concern will be lookit intae properly an proportionately, an ye will be telt the outcome whaur possible.
Proteection
Retaliation against onybody that raises a concern in guid faith is itsel a breach o this policy an will be treatit as serious misconduct. This reflects the protections o the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.

If ye feel ye cannae raise a maitter wi us, or are no content wi oor repone, ye micht get in touch wi the relevant regulator — for ensample the Information Commissioner's Office for data-protection maiters, or Report Fraud (reportfraud.police.uk; in Scotland, Police Scotland on 101) for fraud — or seek independent advice frae the whistleblowing charity Protect.
