Questions
Questions about RODMENA
Where our platforms come from, who they are for, and how we work with clients.
Where do RODMENA’s platforms come from?
They are the result of about 20 years of engineering by our founder, Farshid Ashouri, together with open-source work and a decade of planning. RODMENA LIMITED was incorporated in 2025 to bring that work to customers: the company is new, the engineering behind it is not. Much of what we list is the core platform, the shared services our products run on, which is why the products fit together.
Which products lead?
Highway, Vellum and Provenance. Highway is our durable workflow engine, and we are building it to be the foundation of enterprise applications. Vellum and Provenance are complete products that run on almost the whole of the RODMENA platform, which is the clearest picture of what the platform is for.
Who is RODMENA for?
Organisations that need UK data sovereignty, independence from any single technology vendor, and processes that can be governed and audited. That includes public-sector bodies and regulated businesses.
Who are your clients?
We do not discuss our clients or revenue in public. We share them with buyers privately, during their evaluation, under whatever confidentiality terms the buyer needs.
Why is the site in so many languages, including Scots, Cornish and Manx?
Two reasons. Partners and investors outside the United Kingdom can read about us in their own language, and every edition is produced with RODMENA L10n, our own localisation product, so each one is a live test of it. The editions cost us little, and what we learn from them goes straight back into the product.
What happens if the director is unavailable?
Continuity is designed in. Every platform documents itself in our knowledge base, every release is built and recorded by continuous integration, credentials are held in Haven, and access is also available to a person holding a power of attorney if the director cannot work. Our Business Continuity Policy sets this out, and the team grows with our work.
Where is data held?
We are a UK company. Our platform runs on servers we operate in the United Kingdom, France and Germany, all within the UK and the EEA, with no lock-in to any cloud platform. Vellum, which handles the most sensitive data, keeps its primary database in the United Kingdom, with an encrypted standby replica in Germany and encrypted backups in France. Customer deployments are set per agreement and can be entirely in the United Kingdom, or on the customer’s own servers. The sub-processors are listed on the data-processing page.
How do we assess RODMENA as a supplier?
Start with Questions buyers ask, which answers what a supplier assessment covers, and the Trust Centre, which shows our certifications, insurance and policies with their current status. We will answer anything else directly.
