Modern Slavery Statement
Our position
RODMENA LIMITED is a UK software company below the £36 million turnover threshold at which section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement. We publish this statement voluntarily because buyers are entitled to know where we stand: we have zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain.
Our business and supply chain
We build software in the United Kingdom. Our supply chain is short and low-risk: cloud and hosting infrastructure, software tooling and professional services, procured from established providers with their own published modern-slavery commitments. We do not manufacture, import goods, or use labour agencies.
Commitments
- We will not knowingly work with any organisation involved in slavery or trafficking.
- Everyone who works with us does so freely, lawfully and on fair terms.
- When selecting suppliers, we prefer those with credible labour-standards commitments.
- Any concern raised with us — see our Speak-Up Policy — will be investigated and acted on.
Due diligence
Before we engage a supplier, we check that it publishes a modern slavery statement or an equivalent labour-standards commitment. We recheck our key suppliers at each annual review. Any subcontract we place for public-sector work includes a clause prohibiting slavery and human trafficking and requiring the subcontractor to tell us of any concern.
Risk assessment
Our direct supply chain is cloud and hosting infrastructure, software tooling and professional services from established providers, and we assess it as low risk. The higher-risk areas for a business like ours sit further upstream: hardware manufacturing in our providers' own supply chains, and any labour we subcontract in future. We address the first by choosing providers with published commitments and the second through the subcontract clause above.
Training
Everyone who works for RODMENA, employees and contractors alike, is briefed on recognising and reporting the signs of modern slavery when they start, and again at each annual review.
Measuring effectiveness
Each year we record: the share of key suppliers whose statement we checked (target: all of them); concerns raised through our Speak-Up Policy and how each was resolved; and completion of the annual review and briefing. We report these in each annual update of this statement.
Review
This statement is approved by the Director and reviewed annually, or sooner if the shape of our business or supply chain changes.
