About

Durable platforms and published evidence

RODMENA is a London software company whose customers run our platforms on their own systems and can take their data with them if they leave. We publish the test results and certificates behind our claims.

Story

Background

Our founder, Farshid Ashouri, planned these platforms for a decade, drawing on about 20 years of engineering and open-source work. RODMENA LIMITED was incorporated in London in May 2025 to bring them to customers. They cover workflow orchestration, sandboxed execution, human approvals, email, ingress and a double-entry ledger.

Our platforms are built from small services that do one job apiece, and their databases run apart from the applications on four hosts in three countries.

Certifications, policies and figures on this site carry their current status and the date we last checked them.

What the name Rodmena means

We also run the shared internet service for America House, a 22-flat residential building in London SE1. We charge only what it costs us, as part of our social value commitments. How we deliver social value

Principles

What we stand for

  • One tool for each concern

Email, approvals and quotas run as single shared services that our other products call when they need them.

  • No dependence on one machine or region

Our databases are replicated across hosts in three countries and backed up off-site.

  • Verified claims

We check a system through its own interface, and it counts as ready only after it has been used the way a customer would use it.

  • Checks tested against known failures

Before we trust a check that reports everything is fine, we run it against a case we know is broken and confirm that it fails. Limits are tested for blocking when they should and for letting work resume afterwards.

  • Current status for every claim

Certifications, insurance policies and tests are marked as held, in progress or planned. We update the site when a status changes.

  • Leaving should be easy

If you leave, you get your data in standard formats, a documented handover and written confirmation that we have deleted our copy.

Method

How we work

Requirements before code
Before we build anything, the request is written up as a testable specification and tracked as a ticket. We close the ticket only after checking the finished work against that specification.
Internal audits designed to find faults
Our internal audit team tries to disprove what our platforms claim. Findings are reproduced on the live system and kept as runnable checks for the next audit. Sign-off waits until the faults have been fixed and checked again.
Verification through the product’s own interface
We read and change a product’s state only through its API or command line. A system counts as ready only after it has been used the way a customer would use it.
Statuses kept current
Certifications, insurance, tests and policies all come from one data file, and the site will not build if a figure has not been checked again within 120 days.

Questions

Common questions

Which certifications does RODMENA hold?

RODMENA LIMITED is certified under the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme for the whole organisation: certificate 00d24b59-7739-4d97-bb66-341ac50ef018, valid until 30 September 2027. It is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (reference ZC202334). ISO/IEC 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus are on our certification roadmap. The Trust Centre shows the current status of each and is updated when one changes.

Does RODMENA hold insurance?

Cyber insurance in place. Evidence available on request from security@rodmena.co.uk. Professional indemnity, public liability and employer’s liability cover is in place under one policy with CFC Underwriting, for Lloyd’s syndicates. Cover is placed to the limits a contract requires and evidenced before signature, and the Trust Centre shows the status of each policy.

Where is data held?

We are UK-based and process data in the United Kingdom by default. The production database tier runs on managed virtual servers in the United Kingdom, France and Germany, and its backups are encrypted and kept off-site. The sub-processors are listed on the data-processing page.

Who provides support?

Support comes from the engineers who design, build and operate our systems, and you deal with the people who can fix a problem. Response commitments are agreed in the contract.

Can we leave?

Yes. We provide exports in standard formats, an agreed exit plan with documentation handover and knowledge transfer, and written confirmation of deletion on request. Building our systems on open technology makes it straightforward to leave.

Does this website use cookies or analytics?

This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics or trackers. The only thing it stores in your browser is the theme you choose, kept in local storage.

Can the UK public sector buy from RODMENA through a government agreement?

Yes. RODMENA is an appointed supplier on the Government Commercial Agency’s Artificial Intelligence Dynamic Purchasing System (RM6200). We were appointed on 7 October 2026, and the agreement runs until 23 February 2029. UK public-sector buyers can invite us to their competitions under the agreement and award contracts through it. The Trust Centre gives the details and a link to the agreement.
