Resource planning
ScriptPlan
AvailableA TaskJuggler-compatible scheduling engine and CLI.
A scheduling engine that allocates people and machines to tasks over time. It reads TaskJuggler-compatible plan files, schedules to the minute against working-hours calendars and dependencies, and writes reports in formats other tools can read. Because it runs as a command, a script can produce the plan as part of a routine.
Who it is for. Teams planning work against resources, deadlines and dependencies who want a scheduler they can run from a script.

What it does
-
Minute-level arithmetic
Because scheduling is done in whole minutes with integer arithmetic, repeated runs give identical dates.
-
TaskJuggler syntax
Projects, tasks, resources, shifts and dependencies are written in .tjp files the parser reads as they are.
-
Resources and calendars
People and machines are allocated against working-hours shifts, and scriptplan handles contention between tasks for you.
-
Reports for pipelines
The plan command writes JSON or CSV to stdout with a content-based report id, and messages to stderr.
