Process supervision
supervice
AvailableKeeps a fleet of processes running without a process manager to install.
A supervisor for the processes an application runs alongside it: workers, daemons, queue consumers and sidecars, with health checks, process groups and restart on crash. It brings no dependencies of its own, so supervising a fleet adds nothing to the surface a team operates. The documentation says plainly where systemd or Kubernetes would suit you better.
Who it is for. Python services that run and supervise several long-lived processes in one place, and would prefer not to adopt supervisord or a Procfile runner for it.

What it does
-
Health checks
A process is restarted when its health check fails. Process groups start and stop together.
-
No dependencies
There is nothing else to install, so supervising a fleet adds nothing to the surface you operate.

Where it fits
The documentation explains when systemd or Kubernetes would suit you better.
